I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. I have done my Bachelor's in Computer Science from Pune Institute of Computer Technology in 2003 after which I was working at Persistent Systems, Pune for 2 years. I have worked on Object Based Storage and cluster file systems during my BE project. The papers I have written include: "A Highly Available Metadata Server for Object Based Cluster File Sytem", 'The Structure of Firewalls' and 'Design of a Framework for Compressed-Encrypted-Stackable Filesystems. I have also worked on the design of a 'Cluster Logical Volume Manager'. My research interests include filesystems, storage, fault tolerance and security.
